OSKIA only uses the purest, patented bio-actives that are clinically-proven to work.  In addition to our signature blends of bio-available cell nutrients (vitamins, minerals, omegas, proteins), each product contains 9-15 bio-actives. Each bio-active has been rigorously tested for efficacy and proven to be the very best at what they do. It is our promise to you that we only use the most effective ingredients. 

• Aquacanteen: a refined cactus stem cell elixir clinically proven to calm irritated skin, both short and long term. Also hydrates, firms and chelates iron to reduce ROS. Rich in piscidic acid, Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, and C, the minerals potassium, calcium and magnesium.
• Alaria Esculenta (Algae) Extract: From a brown algae found on the Brittany coast, this extract demonstrates powerful free radical, anti-elastase and anti-collegenase activity leading to increased firmness and skin suppleness, as well as stimulating hyaluronic acid synthesis, supporting skin barrier function and improving skin hydration levels. It is also rich in amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
• Astaxanthin - Anti-oxidant 6,000 times more powerful than Vitamin C and 550 times more powerful than Vitamin E. Sourced from algae and give prawns and flamingos their bright pink colour. 
• Bakuchiol - powering our products for over 6 years - is derived from Indian Babchi seeds has been traditionally used in India for centuries for health and healing. It leaves skin firmer, calmer, lines reduced, elasticity improved (by boosting and regulating Type 1, III & IV collagen) and ideal for sensitive or problematic skin.
• Biodynes O3® (Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate Lysate) - unrivalled DNA protection against O2 pollution made using fermented yeast.
• Butterbur: proven anti-histamine that soothes and reduces redness and irritation.
• Camellia Japonica - A beautiful red flower from Korea which reduces heavy metal-induced oxidative stress. Protects against arsenic, cadmium, lead, nickel (the most damaging metals found in Particulate Matter PM). Also increases dermal density to firm and reduce fine lines, increases hydration and reduces inflammation.
• Cardiospermum Halicacabum (Balloon Vine) Extract: A climbing plant from the tropics, contains high proportions of phytosteroles and triterpens which offer anti-inflammatory & soothing.
• Co-Enzyme Q10 - Enzymatic co-factor (for a variety of enzymatic processes). Free radical scavenger/Anti-oxidant. Also has a major role in controlling cell membrane dynamics, which play an important role in protecting cellular integrity from external pollutants.
• Collageneer® (Lupin seed extract, helianthus annuus seed oil, tocopherol). A patented active ingredient derived from Lupin seed coatings, has the ability not only to increase the synthesis of type I collagen (the most abundant collagen, which diminishes with age), but also to promote production of a high quality collagen that gives the skin its firmness and elasticity.
• Crithmum Maritimum (Sea Fennel) Extract: A seaweed/marine extract that helps to detoxify and tone oxygen deficient skin and restore the hydrolipidic barrier.
• Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract: A plant of the ginger family native to South Asia. Ideal for improvement of skin radiance and evenness of skin tone due to its significant anti-oxidant activity and induction of endogenous cellular defence mechanisms against oxidative stress.
• Defensil® is a skin-conditioning active that normalizes sensitive skin by immediately soothing irritated, inflamed and red skin with long-lasting, constant action with three active principles. Cardiospermum (Echium), rich in Omega 3, harmonizes and protects irritated skin and is effective against itchy and allergic inflammation. The stearidonic acid present in echium oil protects and strengthens the skin barrier and has an inflammation inhibitory effect. The unsaponified parts of the sunflower oil provide phytosterole, tocopherole and squale.
• DHA (from wheat and sugar beet) - micro-encapsulated - penetrates deeper for a deeper, longer lasting tan.
• Echium Plantagineum Seed Oil: 100% plant derived source of anti-inflammatory Omega 3, 6 & 9 able to rejuvenate and revitalise skin.
• EUK 134 - A remarkable self-regenerating Manganese molecule that combines destructive rogue hydrogen & oxygen free-radicals and turns them into water. It protects against toxic effects of free radicals by mimicking superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase activities. It scavenges Superoxide free radicals, eliminates Hydrogen Peroxide (H2 O2) and transforms ROS into water and Oxygen. Regenerates itself for 24 hour protection. Also prevents the formation of UV induced TT Dimer and Peroxide Lipids, which can also have a beneficial effect against UV induced cellular damage.

• Fruit Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs): natural acids that dissolve intercellular glue binding dead skin cells, correcting irregularities in stratum corneum to promote more compact structure and elevated function.
• Galactoarabinan: polysaccharide extracted from larch tree (vegetable alternative to Collagen) that firms, smoothes and tones and adds natural sheen and radiance.
• Gatuline In-Tense® (Spilanthes acmella flower extract). A concentrated oily extract taken from the upper part of the Spilanthes acmella plant (Asteraceae family). By stimulating the biomechanical functions of the fibroblasts, this extract will help reorganize the architecture of the dermis. The density and firmness of the skin are then rapidly enhanced, leading to a reduction in skin roughness.
• Glutathione. A tripeptide and the body's most powerful anti-oxidant, the production of which slows down as we age. Fiercely protects against cellular degradation and hyper-pigmentation and fights off free-radical attack. 
• Lactic Acid: AHA derived from plant source or milk, noted for rich moisturising attributes and ability to exfoliate dead skin cells without provoking irritation. OSKIA uses plant source lactic acid. 
• Laminaria: kelp extract rich in vitamins (P in particular) and minerals used in combination with Arnica to visibly reduce eye puffiness and dark circles.
• Lupinus Albus Seed Extract: Patented active from Lupin seed coatings that increases the amount and quality of collagen.
• Malachite: An important and wonderful mineral for environmentally stressed skin by acting as an anti-oxidant and powerful detoxifier through the stimulation of glutathione reductase (considered the body’s most important cellular antioxidant). 
• Monk’s Pepper, which mimics B-endorphin activity, boosts the skin’s own melanin production to bring out your own natural tan colour to boost skin’s own UV defence and ensure skin is sun-ready with a protective tan.

• Nanobright, OSKIA’s own encapsulated brightening liposome includes Glutathione – the body’s key antioxidant and tripeptide that unfortunately decreases as we age; natural Arbutin (from Bearberry leaf) both of which inhibit the enzyme Tyrosinase (which stimulates melanin production within the melanocytes); and antioxidants Vitamins C & E. 0.4% of Nanobright inhibits melanin formation by 74%. OSKIA uses 5%.
