NIGHT ORBITAL EYE MASSAGE

NIGHT ORBITAL EYE MASSAGE

Release • Drain • Support • Regenerate

Our Golden rule: Eye skin is thin. Pressure should feel comforting , never dragging.

STEP 1 - Calm the Orbicularis Oculi

(Softens fine lines, releases tension, supports circulation)

How:

  • Apply a rice-grain amount of Midnight Eye Q to each eye
  • Using your ring finger, gently glide under the eye from inner corner → outer corner
  • Repeat above the eye, following the brow bone back to the start
  • Create a slow oval loop around the eye

Why it helps:

  1. Releases the orbicularis oculi (the main eye muscle)
  2. Reduces repetitive tension that leads to crow's feet and crepiness
  3. Encourages lymphatic drainage (helps dark circles)

STEP 2 - Acupressure for Dark Circles & Puffiness

(Improves circulation + drainage)

Point: Inner Eye Corner (BL-1 / Jingming)

How:

  • Place your ring finger gently at the inner corner of the eye (beside the nose)
  • Press very lightly for 5 seconds
  • Release and repeat 3 times

Why it helps:

  1. Stimulates microcirculation
  2. Helps congestion that contributes to dark circles and morning puffiness

STEP 3 - Release Frown & Inner Eye Shadowing

(Targets "11" lines and inner orbital tension)

Points: Between brows + inner brow head (Corrugator & Procerus area)

How:

  • Place your index finger between the brows
  • Apply gentle pressure and make small circular movements
  • Move slightly outward to the inner brow head and repeat

Why it helps:

  1. Relaxes muscles that pull brows inward and downward
  2. Reduces shadowing at the inner eye
  3. Softens expression lines over time

STEP 4 - Lift & Support the Upper Eye

(Helps heaviness and drooping)

Point: Centre of the brow (GB-14 / Brow Peak)

How:

  • Place two fingers just above the pupil, on the brow bone
  • Gently press upward and hold for 5–7 seconds
  • Release and repeat twice

Why it helps:

  1. Encourages tone in muscles that support eyelid lift
  2. Helps counter brow descent that contributes to hooding

STEP 5 - Smooth Expression Lines (Crow's Feet)

(Releases repetitive smile tension)

Point: Outer Eye Corner (SI-18 region)

How:

  • Place ring fingers at the outer corners of the eyes
  • Apply light pressure and draw tiny outward circles
  • Keep skin cushioned, no dragging

Why it helps:

  1. Releases overactive smile muscles
  2. Softens expression lines
  3. Supports elasticity in the lateral orbital zone

STEP 6 - Support Tear Trough & Hollowing

(Encourages support from the mid-face)

Area: Upper cheek / tear trough support zone

How:

  • Place fingers on the top of the cheekbone, below the outer eye
  • Gently lift upward and hold for 5 seconds
  • Release and repeat, moving slightly inward

Why it helps:

  1. Supports muscles that underpin the under-eye area
  2. Helps reduce the appearance of hollowing and shadowing

STEP 7 - Drain & Finish

(Essential for night-time recovery)

How:

  • Lightly sweep from the outer eye → temple → down the side of the face to the ear
  • Finish with a gentle press just in front of the ear

Why it helps:

  1. Encourages lymphatic drainage
  2. Reduces morning puffiness
  3. Signals the nervous system to relax before sleep
