    Bakuchiol

    Derived from Indian Babchi seeds it has been traditionally used in India for centuries for health and healing. It leaves skin firmer, calmer, lines reduced, elasticity improved (by boosting and regulating Type 1, III & IV collagen) and is ideal for sensitive or problematic skin. It also supports blemish prone skin by reducing redness associated with acne by inhibiting inflammation hormones (COX-2), an anti-bacterial to help provide a more healthy microbiome, regulates excess sebum production by reducing the activity of a certain enzyme (5-a-reductase) which directly effects excess sebum production due to testosterone activity. Seen as an alternative to retinol without sensitivities.
