What is Turmeric?
Turmeric is a spice originally derived from the root of the curcuma longa plant. A wonderful anti-inflammatory, Turmeric has long been used in both Ayuverdic and Chinese medicinal practices to treat a variety of conditions including skin diseases and wounds. Also a powerful antioxidant, this spice is associated with a host of brilliant skincare benefits.

How does Turmeric benefit my skin?
Due to its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, turmeric is incredibly effective at treating skin conditions such as acne, eczema and psoriasis. It also helps even out skin tone, regulate sebum production in oily skin types, eliminate dark circles and tackle the signs of ageing through stimulating the growth of new cells all whilst gently exfoliating to remove dull, dead skin cells.
